Apr 20, 2018Maddi" Boultinghouse, 4-year-old daughter of Hope Blake and Alex Boultinghouse, Rock Island, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, from injuries received in an accident.Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island, where a Christian wake service will be at 4 p.m. Memorials may be made to: Maddi's fund at Blackhawk Bank and Trust, 301 W. 4th St., P.O. Box 1100, Milan, IL 61264-1100.Maddilynn Alexandria Boultinghouse was born Oct. 14, 2009, in Silvis. She attended preschool at Jordan Catholic School, Rock Island.Maddi was a free spirit who loved adventures. She was fond of being outdoors, where she could enjoy the animals and bugs. Maddi also liked dinosaurs and princesses. She knew no strangers and was loving and giving. Her caring spirit lives on as her organs were donated so that others may live.Survivors include her parents, Hope Blake and Alex Boultinghouse, Rock Island; grandparents, Ed and Anne Marie Boultinghouse, Rock Island, Charles and Kelly Blake, Rock Island, and Sandra Dohler and Steven Foster, Milan; great-grandparents, Ruby Boultinghouse, Rock Island, Lawrence Dohler, Fortuna, Mo., Sarah Blake, East Moline, and JoAnn Santry, Rock Island; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
